go to Adana to feel the heat

Adana is the fourth largest city, located in the south Turkey. Adana received many domestic migrants from the south east region in recent years which changed the demographic and social landscape of the city. In this regard, it is an excellent site for social scientists to observe urban changes within the context of migration, social change and networks.
The city is well known for its kebab and its unbearably hot climate. Kebab is prepared of meat and cooked deliciously. If accommponied by salad and shalgam (a special local drink) nothing can compare to it. If you want to feel its taste fully, you should order a hot and spicy one. Then you are in heaven.
What troubles many people is the hot weather which becomes a real pain in summer days. The best time to be in Adana is either April or May.
I went to Adana at the end May and enjoyed the warmth. When it was 15 degrees in Istanbul it was around 35 in Adana. What I did first was to have spicy kebab with shalgam of course. Having kebab as the first thing when in Adana is almost like a ritual for people who lived in this city for sometime. The city also offers a nice view from around the Dam.
What I say is this: if you want to feel the heat of food and weather, just go to Adana. You wouldn't regret if you do that in April or May.
